Better software enables better vaccine treatment
The WorldVax.org project aims to make a reference implementation of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's CDSi Logic Spec available to builders of immunization information systems around the world. In addition, we will develop a mobile application that utilizes the reference implementation to provide recommendations and guidance to field medical personnel who might not be familiar with the epidemiology domain. We see WorldVax as an enabling technology bringing expert guidance to those providing healthcare to remote and poorly served populations.
WorldVax includes a mobile application that builds on the foundation of the reference implementation. We are looking for people who want to help us build WorldVax for a better world. Ultimately, we want WorldVax to be available on devices ranging from smart phones to tablets to browsers.
If you find this idea intriguing, we recommend that you familiarize yourself with the immunization information available at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta, GA.
